Hi, need some help on the SAP transport mechanism.
Scenario:
Transport (TP) is created, released and imported to the test system. Changes though are now to be reverted / as not required to be imported to Production system.
Can I just modify the TP in the dev system and import again to the test system to bring the before status of the objects (.. so as to match all the system before changes)?
Please let me know!
Regards,
Manish
Hi,
About Reimport - you can check with basis team. They may help you.
Another way is the one which you mentioned.
Do the changes at dev and move to Qua/Prod also, keep changes same at every server.
Other wise you may get issues/inconsistencies while transporting those objects in future.
Thanks

hi Manish,
Just leave that version of transport. if the objects were transported earlier in some other transport request - you can reimport that transport request in your development system to revert all recent changes. Also same old transport request can be imported to quality system.
Just ensure that you old transport do not contain any objects of old version that you do not want to overwrite. Otherwise it can disturb versions of other objects.

Anil

Hi,
You can do changes again in Development and collect the changes in transport and move the changes to Quality system(it will match your changes like before)
