Informatica connector

Hi,

We have an integration solution built using Jco and SAP XI which was certified by ICC some time back.

We intend to rewrite this integration logic using informatica connector , do we need to still certify this refactored solution.

As informatica conncetor is itself certified can we avoid certification , but still say we are SAP certified with the clients.

Please help me with this information.

Thanks,

Sreeram

Hi Sreeram,

Thanks for contacting us.

Only SAP-endorsed integration technologies that ISVs and partners are required to use to develop interface software eligible for SAP integration certification.

Third party solutions certified by ICC is NOT considered as SAP standard endorsed integration technology/method.

Only if you get your interface certified by ICC, you are eligible to use "SAP certified" branding for your solution.

if you use any third solution (which is certified from ICC) for integration, WILL NOT automatically qualify your solution as certified.

Hope this helps.

thanks,
