Hi Members,

I am planning to do SAP course and i need some guidance regarding that.

I have got total for +7   yrs of exp , 1.7 in  corporate sales, 1.4 yrs  in Market Researc and + 4 yrs exp in Supply Chain,

After a lot of thoughts i am planning to go for SAP - APO module ( DP and GATP).

1. In SAP i will be a fresher, so please advise if i can start with DP.

2. Any good institutes in Bangalore who offer this course .

Hi Shreetam,

Normally we have two different training institutes.

1. They do training at low cost but without certificate

2. You need to pay more, get trained in SAP recognized institutes likes Siemens / TESPA etc and write your certification.

1.Basically i am not from bangalore, you can search online or check with your local friends.

2. Your first query, you need to discuss which module can be suited for your experience. You need to explore APO and SCM.

Difference between APO and SCM | SCN

Your tip helps.

Regarding doing APO, i was told by few institutes that i cant go for APO (DP and GATP) as its higher version and i am new to SAP World. As a beginner i should try with Basics like Order Fulfillment or MM.

It would be great if you can advise have you come across such case and is it true.

Hi Shreetam,

As per their statement, APO is advanced of MM, but i dont feel we cannot do APO without the learning MM. It can be added advantage.

Have a visit to ATOS and you query should be cleared.

Thanks for your advise.

ATOS  is not providing SCM modules.


From SCM module i am planning to do 2 course DP and GATP. Please advise being  new to SAP world, can i start with this two modules.

Kindly  also advise if  i would be eligible to go for certification after completion of above two courses.
