Invalid printer specified. ~tmp1cd47bc52185e20.rpt error

Hi Friends,

When I schedule the crystal report, it shows Pending, then Failed with the following error

Invalid printer specified. ~tmp1cd47bc52185e20.rpt.

I appreciate any assistance with this.

When you create a report the printer is set to the default printer on your machine. However, when you save that report to the repository it is very likely the server on which the system is running doesn't have that default printer.

In the "File>Page Setup" menu item dialog box check the "No Printer" checkbox and save the report back to the repository.

Hopefully that will take care of the issue for you.

OR if the report is printer specific/required install the printer on the BOE Server under the local Admin account.

I checked my report and "No Printer" check box was selected alredy but still i am facing same issue!!!

Well that makes no sense... You'll have to look at the report properties in BOE and see why and what printer has been specified then.

Install a default printer if you do not have one.

What are the "Print Settings" of your scheduled report?
