launching archiving batch

hello experts:

I launched the archiving bach last friday at 09h00

the archiving of SFc and inventory ID was pending from friday 18h00 ( local time),

monday at 07h00 , the batch continue archiving and complete in the end of day ( 100 000 SFC and 200 000 inventoyr ID are achived)

Do you have any explication for pending phenomena ?

ME version: 6.0.4.35

What does "the batch continue archiving" mean? Have you terminated the first execution started on Friday?

How is the batch execution scheduled?

the batch in launched manually

It's the same batch started in friday that continue monday but no progrss from friday 18h00 to Monday 07h00

I join a graphic , with :

graphic 1:  total of SFC archived per hour from firday to monday

graphic 2: totla of Inv ID archived per hour :

It could be a result of different causes.

Once it was the weekend, I would think of stats gathering or some internal task of DB engine that slowed down the archiving process or put it on hold.

The second could be a lock on some table that hindered archiving.

Or maybe there was really a huge volume of data which had to be excluded from archiving due to "Archive Component When Parent Archived" as mentioned in SAP Note 2160110.
