Upgrade from SAP B1 2005 to 9.1

Hi,

We want to upgrade SAP B1 from 2005 to 9.1.

May I know what is the step for this ?

On which version we have to upgrade first or can we upgrade directly to SAP 9.1 ?

Hi

You can upgrade to SAP Business One 9.1 to PL08 from the following versions:

SAP Business One 9.1 PL07 and lower

SAP Business One 9.0 PL17 and lower

SAP Business One 8.82 PL20 and lower

SAP Business One 8.81 PL11 and lower

SAP Business One 8.8 PL21 and lower

If you are using a version prior to SAP Business One 8.8 release family, upgrade it to SAP Business One 8.8 release family, then you can upgrade it to SAP Business One 9.1 PL08.

Thanks for your reply.

As per SAP documents we have to upgrade first to SAP 8.8 then we can directly upgrade to 9.1.

I will try & check is any issue we will faced or not.

Hi Tushar.

If you try upgrade from SBO 2005 to 9.1, u meet the some problem.

I think, If u have a time, at the first upgrade 2007 last patch, then u will upgrade 8.82.

At last u will be possible upgrade 9.1.

As per Administrative guide you cannot upgrade the 9.1 from below 8.8 version.  Best Practice try to upgrade 8.81, 8.82 and 9.0.
