Run MRP Wizard based on forecast only in sap9.1

Hi All

we recently upgraded a customer from SAP8.81 to SAP9.1 PL07 and the MRP wizard is not working as before for them

before, they ran the MRP purely based on a forecast they would create, and not take into consideration what is in stock or other marketing documents.

When trying to to the MRP now, they are not getting the same results.

Is there any ways to run teh MRP based purely on the forecast?

However I want to know in the MRP wizard how to get recommendations based purely on the forecast.

Eg.

Forecast: 28/07/2015 - 28/07/2015

Item: Table Qty 10

Then the MRP wizard looks at the forecast (not sales or purchase or production documents)

and the recommendations is to create purchase orders and production order for the table,

bearing in mind that the customer has many child items per bom, and sub boms as well.

I hope this makes sense.

Uncheck the all Sources of Demand and Supply to Be Included in MRP Calculation in MRP Wizard Step 5 Document Data Source.

Now run the MRP then Check

Hi there

you have to have one of those ticked.

We resolved the issue by ticking "ignore cummulative lead times"
