Product Master Data Maintenance in CRM 7.0

Hi Experts,

We have to upgrade CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0 .

For this we require to know the product master data maintenance in CRM 7.0

We are presently using the PME tool for the product master data maintenance.

Request to let me know the impact and the prerquisites for the migration from 5.0 to 7.0.

Hello Rishika,

configurable products with PME are still supported. The good news is that you do not need the external tool to create product configuration models, the application is now part of WebUI.

However, to create actual configuration within an order item, you still need the J2EE stack to generate the UI. The J2EE UI is then embedded into WebUI screens.
