Data Services Demo Environment

Hi Gurus

I want to put together a demo environment containing Data Services. Does SAP supply any such environment? I looked at the CAL offerings but saw nothing promising.

If I were to purchase an AWS instance does SAP have trial licenses for Data Services? Where could I find information on this?

Hi Cliff,

You can contact your cloud provider and find out more about what they are offering to install BODS 4.2 on the cloud. As far as I know SAP doesn't provide any environment. There is only HEC(HANA Enterprise on Cloud) with which BODS works fine.

If the cloud offering is too costly then you can host your BODS Server on VmWare or HyperV. This would be less costly than AWS cloud offering and you can manage to connect easily.

If you are to purchase AWS instance you can use the temp keys if you want to get started with the product without waiting long (See Analytics Solutions from SAP - Temporary License Key )
