ESS Clock In & Clock Out Correction Problem

Hi Friends,

There is a problem in ESS. In our system employee punch(Clock In and Clock Out) is uploaded using BDC program. Now problem is that when i try to change the Punch In or Punch Out it is not opened in change mode. Please give the solution.

One more problem is that when i am trying to create punch in or punch out manually in ESS then it gives error of authorization. I able not able to understand which authorization is missing.

Please provide the solution.

uploaded time events typically cannot be changed.

anyhow check first in 2011 the field ORGIF and customisaiton https://scn.sap.com/thread/3761155

You can do a trace using Su53 or st01 for missing authorisation

Thanks Siddharth i understand the problem.

There is one more problem when i try to change the Clock In and Out and pressing OK button in ESS it gives following Error:

     'No authorization to create infotype for pers. no. between and'

Can you please tell me which roll or authorization is missing.

You can do a st01 trace or run Su53 after this error. what is ess role assigned?

if you have proper ESS role this should work

SAP_EMPLOYEE_ERP

SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_WDA_2

SAP_EMPLOYEE_XX_ESS_WDA_1

SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_WDA_1

SAP_ESSUSER

SAP_ESSUSER_ERP

SAP_ESSUSER_ERP05.

Also, i have checked the TRs SU53 and SU01 and got nothing.
