FileStore addressable via HTTPs?

When running Boxi on a windows platform we know that unc pathes for input file repository and output file repository are working.

Now to we want to use Oracle-Dbfs with HTTPS.

It is possible that the BOXI Server communicates with its IFRS and OFRS via https?

I mean working and if it is a good idea / supported?

If someone uses it what about performance?

Dear Denis,

thx for your swift reply.

I think about accessing the filestore with dbfs and webdav: https://oracle-base.com/articles/12c/dbfs-enhancements-12cr1#webdav

Currently we are setting up the dbfs and then I recreate it and confirm your statement. UNC was also not mentioned but -because the OS manages it- it also works.

I've no doubt that you can add http/https dbfs into Windows, but FRS will not work over it.
