Named Users How Many Sessions we can Open

Hi All,

concurrent users : 20

all sessions are active are 20 irrespective to number of users

like wise how many Sessions can a named User Can Open

from 1 to unlimited

Please advise

Hi Krishna,

The number of sessions is unlimited for named users. The same user can connect from multiple devices and multiple client tools at the same time.

Are you referring sessions in CMC or connections in webi processing server?

what ever licenses you have, you should be able to open that many sessions (named or concurrent)

Only diference is named user has dediated license, but where as concurrent users will not be able to login once concurrent licenses limit is reached

20 only. As i menitoned earlier, named user license will gurantee for that user to login.

Hi Krishna,

If you have 20 user named license, then you can only create 20 users under CMC Application and can have 20 active sessions open.
