differentiation of systems

Hello,

I'm searching for an easy way to differ our test- and the productive system.

At the moment, the difference is only one letter in the browser URL. This means, if someone does not keep an eye on that, he/she could be linked to the "wrong" system and enter data. Maybe there is an option to change the GUI (e.g. colours, background, ...).

I would be grateful for any ideas.

Hi!

The easiest way is to change Welcome logo on Home page of in SAP ME. This is described in SAP ME Developer Guide available at SMP.

Or you can manually change the file \\server\drive:\usr\sap\SID\J00\j2ee\cluster\apps\sap.com\me~ear\servlet_jsp\manufacturing\root\com\sap\me\s...SAPMEWelcome.png by adding some system-specific text to this logo. This will work till the next deploy of SAP ME.
