Cannot import extractor <9AZDP_ST_BW> internal error <Extractor: RDPS_REPL_SOURCES_GET_LIST failed> occurred (BODI-1116153)

Hi All

I am getting the below error when I try to import a custom extractor in BODS

Cannot import extractor <9AZDP_ST_BW> internal error <Extractor: RDPS_REPL_SOURCES_GET_LIST failed> occurred (BODI-1116153)

I checked with our BASIS team and he said that SAP Note 1585204 cannot be implemented. We also checked the SE38 transaction with the help of ABAP person and tried to expose the extractor using RODPS_OS_EXPOSE but its not working. Our Basis person says that no note needs to be implemented.

Hi Arun,

Check the extractor entry into ROOSATTR table. If not present please maintain a entry over there.

Hi Sandeep,

There is no entry of the extractor in ROOSATTR table. Our client is not ready to add the entry manually to this table

While pulling the the metadata, BODS checks the entry in ROOSATTR table, if not you may not be able to import the extractor.

So you have to implement the note and run the program to maintain the entry.

Last option would be manual update to the table.

Hi Sandeep,

I later on came to know that 9AZDP_ST_BW was not a table but a BW DataSource.

All the functions were working correctly. The BASIS team reimplemented some of the SAP Notes and made sure that the necessary tables and SAP BW objects were properly visible.

Hi Arun,

I never told that its a table, your error clearly showed that it was an extractor(Data source).

You could have now seen an entry of it in roosattr table.

Please check if Basis team has installed FM Z_AW_RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN

I have asked my colleague about the SAP Notes which he had installed manually.
