Job - Job level relationship?

Hi all,

We are trying to implement Job Families in our SAP HCM implementation. We also want to configure job levels for each job family. I see that jobs can be related to job families using a relationship in IT1001. However, how is a job/position related to a job level? Basically how can a job be assigned to a particular job level in the job family. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello ,

Job Families are a collection of jobs with similar attributes.  At the job family level you can also assign successors into a successor pool (as opposed, or as well as, at Position level as part of a succession plan).

Let's check the below assignment of the Job to the Job Family needs to be maintained locally.

Hello Kushal,

Can you please check the SAP Enhancement Pack of your system.

Job Families to Job Level association does not used from from EhP4.

In case your client is working on any version lower than EhP4 you can create Scales and assign the same to Job Families.
