Putaway Strategy = P (Storage Unit type) and mixed storage = A (Several SU) is not working

Hi Gurus

For put away strategy P and mixed storage A system allows to place different materials  or different batch in the same bin. For this strategy we define the storage bin sections A or B. Then assign those sections  to the combination of storage type, storage bin type and storage unit type.

We cannot change strategy because we need the system propose a specific SU during the removal process.

Kindly help on how to proceed with this bug.

The situation is  similar to scenery showed in threat but it´s locked  without final solution.

Hi Ismael,

If you check the F1 Help for Mixed Storage in the storage type control (transaction OMM3), you will see:

" A "  Several Storage units with the same material per bin

Several different materials or batches of a material may occupy a storage bin at the same time. However, the individual storage units must contain the same material and/or batch number.

Kindly view the other options for Mixed Storage to suit your requirement. If you require only one specific material & batch per bin, leave Mixed Storage field blank.

It is locked because a fresher who had not read the forum rules necromanced it.

What transaction do you use for putaway? was the destination bin changed during confirmation? was the destination bin found by automatically? Is the destination bin different from the source bin? Is it Handling Unit managed?

Can you show a screenshot from the bin from LX02 showing all the important info like batch SU number, material number ..

Had you searched for OSS notes, searching with mixed storage A returns 83 results after restricting them to application area LE, among them e.g. 1365803 - 'Mixed Storage' indicator ignored at TO creation (2)

Dear

Excuse my late input

• They are using LT01, LT10 and LT09 for put away, after pre-plan SU with LT0A
• The destination bin is not changed during confirmation
• Yes the destination bin is found automatically, it seems that the system first tries to fill bins with available space (see screenshots)
• Source bin is dynamic in  ID point storage type, then destination bin is different in final storage type.
• They are not using HUM

Of course . we already searched in OSS, regarding 1365803 there are not TO with pending confirmation. We have also looked in blogs and consulted colleagues. Even we tried with other  movements type and changed strategies to storage type, storage section and storage bin type.

Really appreciate any suggestion, tip or light
