Dear Suresh,

Old dependent requirements in the sense might be few are firmed planned orders (Manual intervention was happens) so while ran the MRP system will not consider the firmed planned order

hence if you want to delete the old planned orders means use MD19 transaction code

here with respect to material / MRP Controller combination you can get the open planned orders

those you can be able to delete few or all through selection method

refer the screen shot

Hi,

Inconsistencies for planning elements and display problems on transaction MD04 - ERP Operations - SC...

check above link  by expert

Zombie Requirement/reservation:

  1. Dependent requirements without parent planned order
  2. In consistency in MD04 and MB5T transaction -Purchase scheduling agreement
  3. In consistency in MD04 with sales order, schedule agreement.

Case 1:

Deleted planned order (for Standard or Stimulative DepReqs)

In this case, the parent planned order has been deleted but the dependent requirement still exists.  The planned order number is displayed in the MRP element data of the dependent requirement, but the planned order itself cannot be displayed or changed.  Attempting to do this generates the error message 61 003, 'Planned order ... does not exist'.

SAP is recommending to implement the correction program for which we need to raise OSS message . This correction program perform consistency check for RESB which will find and delete 'zombie'-dependent requirements from dep. req. for deleted planned orders and  set of dep. req. for planned order.

Case 2:

· Requirements remain unchanged after the completion or deletion of the pegged requirements.

· Purchase requisitions, purchase orders or delivery schedules without components.

· Requirements without pegged requirements.

· When you reschedule manually, requirements of material provided for subcontractor delivery schedules are not rescheduled with the header order.

· Requirements of material provided for subcontractor delivery schedules are displayed in the plant segment instead of in the subcontractor segment after manual rescheduling.

  SAP is recommending note 128061

Case 3 :
SAP is recommending Note 1909466  which corrects  error that generates inconsistency.

Could you please brief more about your question?

What is the MRP element description shown in MD04 for those dependent Requirements?

Dear Suresh,

You need to remove the pegged requirements for these dependant materials from your system. You can check the pegged requirement from MD04.

In case the pegged requirement is from a planned independent requirement, you need to remove it from your system using MD62 or MD03 with planning mode 3.

Please ensure that materials are not flagged for deletion when you are running MD03 with planning mode 3.

Hope this helps, award points if helpful

Suresh,

Check below SAP Note  1888035 - Trouble shooting for incorrect entries in transaction code MD04

If this note is not helpful then I recommend to raise an OSS message with SAP.

Hi,

Dependent requirements are normally generated because of planned orders. Try to delete the planned orders collectively using COHV or COHVPI. Check the below screen shots.

Once you delete the planned orders, dependent requirements will get deleted automatically

Thanks

Hi Kumar,

Thanks for your response. The planned orders are not currently available for the dependent

requirements. That is the issue.

Suresh
