Hello Experts,
We upgraded our portal from 7.02 to 7.4 SP8.
Now, most of the iViews (even standard like the attached "Learning Solution" has scrollbars).
This is not a theme issue nor language Hebrew (happens in RTL & LTR and on classic/AJAX & custom theme).
It seems that the iView calculation of width and height is wrong.
This happens on standard/custom iViews from all types (BSP/WDA/WDJ etc).
Browser version is IE8 (tested on Google Chrome too, same issue).
How can I prevent the scrollbars?
Regards,
Omri
Hi Omri,
Are you using IE11?
And, did you apply the latest patch for 7.4 SP8?
We had many issues with scrollbars, this one looks like Note 2127865 which is solved in patch #21.

Tamar

Hi Tamar,
I have two horizontal scrollbars (I guess that one is from the application and the 2nd is from the content area) - In the old portal there are no horizontal scrollbars.
The vertical scrollbar shouldn't be in the application because there is no overflow (again - in old portal no vertical scrollbars for this iView).
I'm not in the customer's site so I don't know if this is iView inside a page or direct iView inside a role.

Omri
Hi Omri,
The scrollbars are not coming from the content area iFrame, I can confirm
that because the outer (more external) horizontal scroll is divided in 2
scrolls.
My only doubt was that it's a page, but in your last screenshot I can see
it's an iView, it means that the scrolls are coming from the application for
sure.
So it doesn't seem like a portal issue.
Regards,
Tamar
