GRC 10.1 End User Logon Request Status not working

Former Member

Hello community

I wanted to know if anyone has faced the issue when using End User Logon where the Request Status screen doesn't open any of the buttons (Instance Status, Open, View Provisioning Logs).

After much digging I found that the service associated to these screens is GRAC_POWL_REQUEST_STATUS_EU. I tried testing the service and I get the same exact error when I do it from End User Logon.

I tested also GRAC_POWL_REQUEST_STATUS to see what it was, and it's the same screen but when you access it from NWBC, and it works just fine.

I tried confirming if it was an issue with the credentials of the end user logon, but they are just fine. (Tested the password with the other services and they work).

Any clues?

Regards

Thank you so much. Since it required some manual changes I did it in Sandbox first.

The funny thing is that in Sandbox I WAS prompted for credentials, I applied the note (which was half way there already) and it's now working awesome.

My issue in Development is that I don't even get prompted to enter credentials, so that's the first thing to help me solve this issue, what else could be preventing these screens to even ask for credentials.

Once I'm up to that point, I can apply this note and be done with it.

Any clues?

I checked and everything is in there. The webdynpro is created, and the other ones as well.

Another funny thing, in the Quality environment a I do get prompted for credentials, so I just have to apply the note and it'll work. My issue is still that in Development I get the HTTP 500 error.

The config in our Sanbox and Quality environment has the ID as an Internet User and it works. Plus all documentation out there says to have the Logon Data as an Internet User, including the 1692504  note.

The user ID is the same for al End User Logon services we've updated.

authentication type wont make much difference,

once id maintain it should not ask for id and password.

it should open the request status.

well what i remember is

thier text in SE24 and Variant was not maniatained.

please check that in dev

ADD Text Symbols in the class CL_GRAC_POWL_REQUEST_STATUS

1.) Goto transaction SE24 and enter the object type 'CL_GRAC_POWL_REQUEST_STATUS' and click on the change button

2.) In the menu GOTO->Text Symbols and add the following

Sym                    Text

035                    PROV_LOG_EU

036                    LIST_EU

037                    DEFAULT_EU

3.) Save and activate it in GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST package

Maintain variants in View GRFNNAVENTITY

1.) Goto transaction SM30 and enter GRFNNAVENTITY in the Table/view and click on the maintain button

2.) Click on the New Entries and maintain the following

Entity ID: ACCREQ

Navigation Variant: DEFAULT_EU

Navigation Target: GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL_EU

Entity ID: ACCREQ

Navigation Variant: LIST_EU

Navigation Target: GRFN_MSMP_INST_STATUS_EU

Entity ID: ACCREQ

Navigation Variant: PROV_LOG_EU

Navigation Target: GRAC_UIBB_PROV_LOG_EU

3.) Save it

I tested it from Portal and it worked. It doesn't load from SICF but it does from EUL in Portal so that's what I needed. The note you suggested did the trick.

Thank you so much!

Maria
