Users access level in BOBJ

Hello everyone,

I created a user in CMC and assigned him to "Everyone" group (which is default by the way), now when user try to run the report he can refresh the report but he can not use the input controls in that report. he gets the message that user does not have edit rights.

I tried to give him edit rights but that doesn't work.

Can someone please advise what steps should i take to give him proper access

please advise steps that i need to take to give him proper access.

Also I want him to have an access to create his own ad-hoc analysis on that report..... what rights do i need to give him for that ?

Hi

Please check in CMC the following components

• Applications - Web Intelligence, General and Application securities for your user, input controls are also there.
• Folders - Fodler, where the report is, Content - Web Intelligence securities for the user.

Hi,

Securities in the same places above. And you also can separate by "owner" securities not allowing to modify reports created by other users.
