Hi All.

I have a question regarding an Infopack job that has been scheduled on APO side by a user who no longer exists.

I need to find what Infopackage is running this job and if possible cancel it.

Please help.

Hi Ankit,

You should be able to find this job in SM37 BI_BTCH* that you mentioned even though it has been scheduled through RSA1 and once you get the job is SM37, you can go to change mode of the job by selecting from the menu job-> change and there in you can edit the start condition by removing the periodic option from the job so that the job does not repeat or you can manually specify the date and time in NO start after option.

As well as you can also check the possibility if this job is starting after some particular event/job.

Hope this helps!!

Hi All,

First of all thanks for your replies.

But this job is not running via SM37. Instead it has been scheduled in RSA1 (i.e. Infopack Job)

This job can't be found in SM37.

It keeps getting scheduled via the Infopack.

I just want to find the Infopack for this job from where I can unschedule it.

if job was scheduled then it should be there ar SM37.

In SAP server any job we can find at SM37. that's basic one.

please confirm and let us know

1. You know which info pack is want check?

2. You know the user name or id

3. You know the job name?

if your fresher's or new to this activity, please take basis team help.

Hi,

All scheduled jobs can be found in SM37..

Scheduled jobs = Background jobs which can be found in SM37..

Maybe ask the BASIS for help on how to find the job which is running? Using the job in SM37 you can have an idea what type of job is it..

Loed

Hi,

if you know the user name then you can search scheduled jobs on his user id at SM37 by using wild card entries.

Tx - SM37,

User name/id - XYZ

Status - Schedule/active/release

if your not familiar with SM37, seek basis team help, They can find.

Other wise, Go to your peocess chain, select info pack step-->right click-->display all jobs, from there also you can find the job and user name as well if info pack job was created by that user only.

Thanks

Hi,

Just search for ACTIVE, SCHEDULED, and RELEASED job by the user you are talking in SM37..

Or ask the BASIS to cancel the user's jobs..

Hi Deepanshu,

I would suggest you to please check the log of Job in R/3 as well as BW System, where you can find the info package name .

And if you are not able to cancel it Please coordinate with Basis team who has authorization to kill the job.

Hope this helps.

Thanks & Regards,
