Darshan,

Do you still have a machine with CR 2013 Support Pack 1? Could you try saving to the repository from that version please?

Hi Darshan

I found a phone incident where the exact same error was reported and solved. Below are the pertinent notes from the incident as well as a reference KBA:

====TECHNICAL DETAILS AND COMMUNICATION====

Product Version: BI 4.1
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
Production System.

1. The users were not able to publish a report from crystal report 2012 to enterprise.
2. The issue appeared with a report only other report were working fine.
3. We were able to refresh the report.
4. The differences between this report and other reports was the datasource, the report had and web service based datasource.
5. We uploaded the document from the CMC and the document was uploaded.
6. The report was working fine in CMC after upload.

===RESOLUTION SUMMARY===

1. Navigate to the folder where you want to upload the document.
2. Click on manage-> Add-> Local document.
3. Browse the locally saved report.
4. Click on Add.

Are you getting an error? If so what is the error?

What's the behavior / symptom?

That would define "not working" a bit better(?). Think of it this way; you call your mechanic and tell him my car is not working. Will that be enough for him to tell you what is wrong?

Hi Ludek,

This is what I get when I try the link.  I assume Darshan is getting the same error.  I'm guessing it would require access to the Support Portal.

Thanks,

Brian

Ahhh - ok. That is because the KBA requires an SAP Service Market Place (SMP) login. Not all KBAs are freely replicated to SCN - particularly not those referencing any Enterprise products. From the description I assume Darshan has BI Platform / Enterprise / BOE, thus he or someone in his org will have access to SMP

hi,

Brian Dong is right..the link is not opening  @ my side also & yes i have sap  service market place ...

Pleaze read my post from Aug 13...

You need access to the SMP. As you have BI / BO / BI Platform / BOE, you or someone in your org has the logon ID etc., to get to the KBA. If you are not able to see the KBA after you have logged into the SMP, let me know.

Better yet consider creating a phone incident.

Hi Darshan,

If you log into the Enterprise server, can you save a report from there?  I'd like to see if the error is happening on the Crystal Reports side or BOE side.

If it happens even from within BOE then we'll have to look at BOE and not Crystal Reports.

From inside Crystal, can you open a report from the Enterprise server and resave it?

How long has this error been happening?

Have you ever been able to save a report to BOE before?

Was Crystal Reports 2013 recently installed or updated before the error?

Was BOE recently installed or updated before the error?

Does this error happen with all reports or just one in particular?

Thanks,

Brian
