could not hide fields in CATS

Hi Experts,

I have created a time entry profile for my CATS implementation and also i have hideout all fields which is  unnecessary but in  CAT2 some of fields stil avilable. i could not hide those fields.. what could be the reason.? can any one give me an idea what i did wrong?

but still above yellow highlighted fields are available in CAT2 transaction. i want to hide those fields as well ..pls can any one advice me?

Hi Siratha, 

   Could you able to resolve this? I believe this behavior observed after a support pack installation. The screen is moving from 120 to 150 after clicking influencing.

   If it is already resolved can you please share the solution?

HI Mahesh,

Yes your correct. after some technical upgrate. i could easily hide the fields. but i really dont know what they have done from the basis side.we are in EHP7 with HR renewal implimentaion.

Hello Saritha ,

Go to transaction code - CAC2

double click on "Data entry section".

click on hide button which is unwanted fields than save it.

Testing -

Cat2 , check the fields are existed or not in Data entry section.

Thats is what i did but no luck, still some fields ar visible in CTA2 transaction.even after i hide and saved in CAC2.

I tried as you mentioned. but the problem is, visible fields in CAT2 is not there in 'selection field" or 'modifiable'. im veru much confused.

Do you think it shuld be any techniacl issue?

You hided the unwanted fields in  data entry section only ,

Settings

Worklist

Data entry section

Hide unwanted fields from the above list and try.

In the screen as per your second screen shot, you have made the changes to Influencing fields. Click on the tab 'Modifiable' and then try hiding the fields in the screen.
