SAP GUI Launcher

Hi community,

I am using Mars edition , I install all tools , latest patch of SAP GUI , my java version is 8 Update 51 64 bit.

When I am trying to navigate SAP GUI Launcher in eclipse it is not working .

Hi Suleyman,

what about native Eclipse editors, are they working with your ABAP project? Standalone SAPGUI access to the system is OK?

The INFO level trace entries you have posted seem healthy, but have you seen any exceptions in the error log?

Hi Marco,

I can work eclipse without any problem , just GUI Launcher it is not working . In addition at mac os  gui launcher is working , also one of my colleagues can open GUI Launcher via windows os.

There is no exception in  trace level.

Hi Suleyman,

at my point of view its a bug in the eclipse plugin for parsing the SAPGUILandscape.xml.

At my company we have more than 5000 different Logonitems and run in the same problem.

We disable some parts of the Landscape.xml and it works. But it was not reproducible

because the error occurs not on 1 definable item but on compinations of different items.

Another error we run into is that at closing eclipse run into an endloss loop and not close.

Maybe it is the same bug?

Hi again,

today i found the problem in our SAPUILandscape.xml file.

The problem occurs if you have double entrys in the Service node.

It's the name attribute what generate the endloss loop.

So check you SAPUILandscape.xml

Possible is locate at C:\user -> <username> -> AppData -> Romanig -> SAP -> Common
