SAP GUI 7.40 Installation error calsync.msi

Hi All,

I installed SAP GUI 7.40 patch 4 with hotfix in Windows 10 and getting 2 errors - install calsync.msi error and another one with calsync.msi. Please advise how to clear these errors. I installed 7.40 in windows 7 without any error. But when I installed in a new laptop to test with windows 10 and MS office 2013, I am getting these 2 errors. Please help ASAP to troubleshoot.

Thank you all for trying to help me. I fixed the issue. I uninstalled SAP GUI, then installed all pre-req brought up by GUI itself in the initial screen, then installed SAP GUI. Installation went fine without any errors.

Read "Important remarks and updates:" section in the note 66971 - Supported SAP GUI platforms.

Additionally 2035293 - known and open issues of SAP GUI for Windows.

Hello,

You can run a Workstation check on a problem machine as directed in SAP Note 1099439.

Then check the .cab file to find some useful information.
