Hi

Recently we had Applied patches SP 6 and patch 1

to SAP Bo Live office

after that i am Unable to Log in to Live office

Please advise

Finally found the solution

check the URL it is different so i corrected it

Yes this was also the solution for our System. The URL for REST was wrong.

Hello - We are also seeing the same issue, I have checked the RESTful service URL, by defaul tit has URL as http://servername:6405/biprws and I changed it to http://servername/dswsbobje/services/Session still seeing the same error. What should be the URL?

Also we have WACS running and enabled. Any insights are appreciated. Thanks!

change the RESTful servise to

http ://servername:6405/biprws

check weather the service packs under same level ?

if the URL with biprws does not work,

you should check if the RESTFul Web Service is installed and included in the WACS.

I tried URL http://servername:6405/biprws but still it doesn't work. Also checked the WACS server properties and it has RESTful service in it. Does any settings need to be changed in WACS server properties?

we are using BI 4.1 SP06 patch1 and Live Office 4.1 SP06 patch1. Thanks!

if not working sp6 patch 1

please down grade to stable version sp6 patch level 0 and see

may be some bugs in patch 1 we are currently working on Sp6

At ours SP06 Patch 1 is working.

Perhaps some kind of firewall blocking port 6405?

Try http://servername:6405/biprws in the browser if it trys to download some biprws.json

Finally it works!

I have verified all the settings and I have to restart SIA few times then it worked, not sure what happen initially. Thank you all for your suggestions.

Hi Guys,

To having confirm, in LO connection and processing method has been changed from BI 4.1 SP5 P5 and onwards.

- It is requires to have the RESTFul Webservice up and running, and has to be correctly configured.

You can check your RESTFul webservice status in CMC->Servers->Core Services-> WACS->Metrics.

Also after changing properties of RESTFull Webservice, please restart WACS to get it working.

Bo server is in SP1

and we down grade all the things to sp 1 now every thing working fine

I updated Server and Client to 4.1 SP06 Patch 1 and I have the same Problem.

And Yes I can Login with Launchpad and so on...

Any idea...

Martin can you down grade to SP6 at patch 0 level and see ..

Presently i also got the same error that's way i am down grading to SP 6

I tried different old LiveOffice clients

- 4.1 SP05

- 4.1 SP05 Patch 2

and the Connection works fine, even to the 4.1 SP06 Patch 1 Server.

And after the Client update to SP06 the connnection is not possible anymore.

Any ideas or did we find a new bug?

Or is there a new configuration that has to be made in SP06 to get LiveOffice working.
