Clear Meta data cache file issue

Hi

One of our BPC dimensions forced to be cleared its metadata cache file to get its H1 hierarchy  regularly whenever we login epm add in first time every day.  We are not updating its master data.  This issue almost every user is facing. Any solutions could you suggest ?

BPC 10.1

EPM ADD in  version  10 SP 21 Patch 2, .NET 4

Can you please provide us your 10.1 SP level .

And you can find the latest update of EPM Add-In patch SP22 try to install it.

Here 0006 is the SP-Level of our BPC you can find this in your BW status......

But you can try this -

Log in to BW - SE38 - run UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE

Hi Shrikant,

It wont solve my problem.

Issue is , EPM Add in is not reading one particular Dimension Hierarchy with base members. In our EPM report , we are using that dimension hierarchy with BASE member selection. So whenever it  dont read base members  it is showing Parent node in report. We are clearing cache and re login then it is working fine.  And we are not updating master data for this dimension at all.

Hi Mahesh,

Make sure that all the dimension are processed and green.

If you getting error, check the error log.

Go to affected dimension - delete hierarchy - process it - > add hierarchy -> process it

I did these processes couple of times., But no use. We raised issue with SAP. I will get back to you once we hear some thing from SAP.
