Dear Sabhapathy,
The icon which you have clicked is for master data which shows all the BOM components.
Click the result icon, which is left to the master data icon.
Also, you can click the planned order icon, before costing icon.

Dear Sabhapathy,
If your characterisitic COLOR has below values,
01 - RED
02 - BLUE
03- BLACK.
1. Your first dependency : COLOUR_RED says if COLOR ='01'. Assign this only to the component 60000055, which brings RED Color & not to other components.
2. Create another dependency in CU01: COLOR_BLUE.
Sel. condition as COLOR='02'. Assign this only to the component 60000056 which brings blue color.
Similarly create separate dependencies & assign to the respective components.
Based on your value selection in CU50, the right component will be displayed in the Results.

Sabhapathy,
It looks you took in a wrong direction.
For 3 different colors 3 different dependencies and for 3 engines 3 different dependencies you need to create.
For Red,Blue and Black colors define dependencies like below and remember to assign same dependency in BOM item details.
Red to Red item details and Blue to Blue item details same way for Black.
0000010 $ROOT.COLOUR= '01'
0000010 $ROOT.COLOUR= '02'
0000010 $ROOT.COLOUR= '03'
For engines also 1200CC,1500CC and 1800CC 3 different dependencies.
0000010 $ROOT.COLOUR= '01'
0000010 $ROOT.COLOUR= '02'
0000010 $ROOT.COLOUR= '03'
assign above engine dependencies to same item only.
Further if you have any items follow same procedure.

Sabhapathy,
What is the Dependency type is used? Did you check for syntax errors exists?
Can you show us the BOM component Dependency Assignments to Objects snap shot?
And one more thing when you click on results in CU50 the screen heading should be Configuration:Results your screen shows Configuration:Master data?
