How to restrict user to access specific Function Location

Hi,

   Could you help me please ?

     Is it possible that any Function Locations or Equipment that are installed into Function Location 'xxxx' ,which specified function location code, are ignored from any search results by users via transaction code IH01 , IL03 ? I would like to allow accessible to some users group.

    How to configure through roles and authorization ?  I tried to search authorization that related  but not found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Potjaman

Run tcodes IH01, IL03, after run tcode: SU53, choose the objects that you want lock or unlock, and ask for your basis team to lock or unlock these objects for determine users.

I did as per your suggest but su53 does not give me more detail , it showed message 'The last authorization check was successful'

The function location that I need to restrict , they have been inactive but they can be found via IH01 , IL03.

How can I restrict an inactive function location from any search results ?

Hi

You should run tcodes IH01 , IL03 before, after you run Tcode: Su53, and the authorization objects will be displayed on screen log. Did you do thais way?
