Hi All,
I created a BRFPlus application in development and transported it to quality
with TR1. Then again did a change in development and transported again to
quality with TR2. In Transport Information in DEV I can see the last used TR as
TR2 but in Quality I can still see TR1 eventhough the changes in TR2 are
correctly transported.
If this is the case then how to check if the last changes made in
Development are correctly transported to Quality other than checking TR number
in Transport Information and checking each and evey object in development and
quality which is subjected to errors.
The same needs to be checked in production environment too. Can you please
advise?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
you can execute a check between systems using the report FDT_CONTENT_COMPARISON that allows you to compare applications betwen remote systems. This way you can check if the application in the development system and teh one in your Q system have deviations.
But this is just a workaround and not eliminating the root cause.
What type of versioning do you have in your application - versioning per transport? If versioning per transport is available every imported transport request should create a new version in the target system that you can see on the versions tab of your BRFplus objects. If this is not the case something went wrong with the import (or export) the request.
Have there been any errors in the transport log? In order to restart a failed transport you can use the report FDT_TRANS_PHASE_EXECUTION.
Hope that helps to identify the source of the error

Hello,
Did you check the status of the 2nd Transport in the Quality system? Did it end up in error? What the TR log says?

Hi All,
Thanks for your valuable replies.
For Application 1,I changed a Decision Table and incorporated it in a decision table and in qualtity I can see the decision table ,rule in which it is used ,its ruleset and function showing TR2 in Transport Information but the same thing is not happening for other objects
Is there any way using which we can see only the changes that are done in the application so that it will be easy to check if the Application in development is in sync with the one in quality or production?
Or any work aorund on this issue?
Thanks in advance
I think this is a strange problem which should not happen in normal development process.
Please check with your BASIS guys if this issue has happened for other SAP objects when doing transporting.
If this is the first time, please have another BRF+ objects try to see if it will happen again.
Some times TR not compliance may caused by system setting.
Regards,
David
