PCD Objects iViews, Pages, Layouts, Roles, Worksets are missing when right click Folder->new

Dear Portal Guru,

When I am right click on any folder->New under Content Administration, I am not getting options

• iViews
• Pages
• Layouts
• Roles
• Worksets

Your help will be highly appreciate.

The issue is related to browser, I think upgraded portal 7.4 is not support on IE 11.

so I checked on chrome browser and its working.

Hi Samir,

As per screen shot you have clicked on PORTAL CONTENT TRANSLATION tab in CONTENT ADMINISTRATION.

Please click on CONTENT ADMINISTRATION --> PORTAL CONTENT MANAGEMENT.

Then try to right click on Portal Content or sub folders of portal content.

If you are not able to access these links then it should be compatibility issue with browser.

what is your EP version ?

Try to access after removing browser cookies, history & enable compatibility view settings.

After adding Super Admin role to one of portal, I am getting option to create iView but same role I have added in different portal and its not working. Krunal could u suggest on this.

Hello Samir,

Add "Administrator" Group from UME instead of super admin role into User ID and check.

Please check permissions on portal content --> Content Provided by SAP folder.

And add administrators (group), super_admin, content_admin, user_admin, everyone(group) on portal content--> content provided by SAP folder if permissions are not assigned on folder.

And don't forget to RESET CHILD PERMISSION after adding all groups and roles on mentioned folder.

Check ADMINISTRATORS Group contains how many roles. There should be minimum 2 roles into administrator group (super admin, administrator).

Could u please check anything is missing in screenshot. Only for my ID the options are missing even though all related roles and permission is in place.

Could u please suggest what other settings will help to bring options.

Hi Samir,

As per snapshot ,there are 3 roles are missing. (content_admin_role, system_admin_role,user_admin_role).

Can you please check after assigning these roles on folder as mentioned as above?
