Settlement only shows one item during update run in FO8C or RECOSESNG

hello Sir/ Madam,

I am having an issue wherein when I run FO8C or RECOSESNG in Test Mode, it shows 2 settlements:

Settlement of Property --> Business Entity

Settlement of BE --> Cost Center.

This is how the settlement rule is set up and is expected result.

However, when I run the same in update mode, only the first settlement is posted. The settlement of BE to cost center is not posted.

This behaviour is specific to prior period i.e. when the settlement period in FO8C is enter as earlier than current period (e.g period 5,6/ 2015).

But, if I run the same for period 8 (current period), I see both settlements in the update run.

I am not sure what is blocking the posting of the second settlement when I run in prior period, when the same is correct in the current period. I have checked OKP1 (for through posting of CO-> FI) and OB52, and nothing is blocked/ locked here.

Can anyone assist me on what might be the issue? Kindly let me know if you need any other detail from me.

Hi,

Please check the flag "Check trans.data" and check again.

Also you can active the trace for test mode and update mode by

Menu: Extras -> active flow trace

Then, you can analysis it by the trace.
