Infoobject truncating data in SAP BI powered by HANA system

Hi,

I have a characteristic infoobject YNOTE, which is of type char and length 250. The option 'Long text is XL' is checked.

Unfortunately, When I load the data into this object, it picks up only 130 characters and truncates the rest. There are no special characters and the lower case option is checked too.

Can someone suggest some solution?

I would like to verify if I understood the problem correctly. Is the Characteristic value (CHAR 250 lower-case) truncated or does it concern the XL text?

Please also share the SAP BW release (I assume 7.4) and SP level.
