Duplicate reservation created for the same line item in SAP DBM 8.0

Hi experts

Whenever the material is added in vehicle order or parts order or service order in SAP DBM 8.0 two reservations is created for one material added.

Can anyone suggest, why two reservations is created and how it can be rectified??

Dear Ragavendra,

I guess this is customization error for order save event ,  action reservation update is triggered twice on order save event..so remove the duplicate reservation update action from action determination

Hi Raghvendran,

As per SAP Standard ITEM_CHANGE is the action which creates reservation.

Yes Check if the Note works as suggested.which should solve the ABAP program error issue identified by SAP ..but if it does not work and if this is always happening for first item you entered and saves....then its seems that this is because of duplicate save event / save process event as subsequent event configured for save process event / save event in global event framework DBM customization  this  which triggers duplicate reservation update event as the changes are committed at the end of even.

Thank ganesh ORD_SAVE Event action is triggered twice after upgrade from DBM7.0 to DBM 8.0
