Sending shipment document by email

Hello Experts,

I have created a new output message type with transmission medium 5 for sending a shipment document to the carrier by e-mail. The email is being sent and received successfully. My question is do we have a possibility to control the sending of the email? Like when I am saving the shipment on VT01N, the the email with shipment document is stored in transaction SOST and I manually send it through that transaction? if not manually, do we have a possibility to schedule a job for the transaction SOST to send the emails at a particular time?

Why don't you control that directly in your own area instead of SOST?

You can use a different dispatch timing than 4 immediate, e.g. 1 via periodic job or 3 to process it later via VT70
