Hi Experts,
One of Health Benefit plan is going to be unused from September 1 st on wards.
Delimiting At these steps are enough? Kindly advice.
1. Define Health Plan general data
2. Define Flexible benefits plan General attributes for health plan
3. Define cost rules
4. Assign health plan attributes
Please advice.
Regards,
Sairam.
I would suggest that you also look at the Prerequisites and Corequisites (V_T74FY and V_T74FZ), and at the Benetits Program Eligibility (V_T5UBU).

Dear Experts,
Shall we need to remove the Particular benefit plan in the Define Programs node.
The Particular benefit plan is availble the above node and the table is V_T5UBU.
The main objective of the issue is from September onwards, no one could enroll with theat pla.
I have delimited the dates with above 4 nodes.
Even then also Employee can enroll the particular plan.
Shall I need to delete the particular plan in define plans node.
Kindly advice.
Regards,
Sairam.
Dear Experts,
Please advice.
From Septemeber 1 st onwards, no one could enroll a particular health plan.
Is it better option to delete Health plan option.
Even though I delimited in all the above steps, the user can enter the values in 167 Infotype with particular benefit plan.
Please advice the better option on non usability of a benefit plan.
Regards,
Sairam..
If a Benefit Plan needs to be delimited because it "is going to be unused", meaning that it will no longer be valid, then all IT0167 (or IT0168) need to be delimited as of the same date.
If the Costs/Deductions were already calculated for September, and the Infotypes are retroactively delimited to the end of August, the refunds will be done automatically during the next Payroll Calculation.
Hi Sairam,
You will first need to delimit the end date of the Health plan for all the employees and then set plan to Closed to avoid the master data input entry.
Even if payroll is processed payroll results would be self adjusted to generate refunds for excess deductions done, if any.
Thanks,
Ameet
