Hello
This year Boxing day 26.12.2015 is on a Saturday. So as per rule this should be moved to next working day which will be 28.12.2015.
The PH in our system for Boxing day is marked for 26th Dec and updated to move to next working day however upn checking employees work schedule rule in IT 0007 it shows 26th Dec and 28th Dec as holidays(holiday class 1).
I was expecting system to show OFF/FREE on Saturday 26.12.2015.
Could you please help how to resolve this
Many thanks
Ajay
Hi Ajay,
Use PT03 to move holiday from 26.12.2015 to 28.12.2015. Accordingly change holiday class for both dates. This will resolve the issue.

Hello All
Thanks. We used PT03 to edit the dates.
Many thanks

In our client site,
a)Boxing day has been defined as 'Fixed date', hol class 1.
b)In 2015, the holiday has been moved to 28.12.2015.
c)In 2016, the holidays have been moved
Christmas to 26.12.2016, Boxing day to 27.12.2016.
We have not required to do any changes in PT02. PT03 is to display WS.
Also, changing each WS is a painful exercise. It would be simpler to use ABAP Enhancement or other means.
The moving would be standard to the next working day.
However, we have found if two consecutive days are holidays as in the case of 2015 Christmas & Boxing day, the holidays may not be in the same order as Christmas then Boxing day.

Use the option move to next day after weekend (sat/sun) and then check.
Further more check the option of DWS rule variants, exit PTIM003 for work schedule generation.

Can you send a screenshot of the Work schedule rule for Dec, as well as the relevant holiday calendar.

Hi,
Whenever holiday's is moving from one day to another day becuase of old day's are OFF in WSR. Then in the both day's will be showing as 1 this is moving scenarion in the system.
You can change manually through PT01 for removing the public holiday class 1 from respective WSR on 26.12.2015.
