Is it safe to use rsdb/prefer_join=1 now?

Hi experts,

  Q1: SAP releases a new kernel patch 7.21 PL 510 now and the note: 2144575 mentioned it is An improved prefer_join method for FOR ALL ENTRIES. Does this mean that all data distribution issues mentioned in here ( ABAP Select For All Entries - what is happening in SQL Server? - Running SAP Applications on Micros... ) have been resolved?

  Q2: By the way, the parameter rsdb/prefer_join is dynamically switchable. Does this mean it is ok to switch off rsdb/prefer_join = 0 to use UNION ALL instead without any extra downtime?
