Row wise multiplication of Key Figures in column calculation

Hi,

I have a requirement as stated below.

Columns include MTD, STD and YTD

MTD: Month till Date

STD: Season Till Date i.e. April to September and October to March

YTD: April to March

I have two key figures.

1. Quantity( 1 Cube and three DSO)

2. Rate

Eg: Data is as follows( Rate should me multiplied with all the volumes of different data targets in the columns)

Month  Volume A      Volume B     Volume C     Rate

April          10               20               30               2

May           50               60               70               3

Output is as follows

MTD: May      STD: April-May                         YTD: April to May

Volume A     50*3=150       (10+50) * (3+2)   60*5=300                    60*5=300

Volume B      60*3=180          80*5=400                                         80*5=400

MTD values are correct but STD and YTD values should be as follows.

Volume A         STD= 10*2=20 +50*3=150 i.e. 20+150=170

                       YTD= 10*2=20 +50*3=150 i.e. 20+150=170

Kindly do the needful.

Thanks

SS

Hi,

I have maintained a transformation with following details.

Target DSO Infoobjects

Quantity.

Rate

Value

Source Infoobjects

Quantity.

I have maintained transformation between source quantity to target quantity.

But I want to fill value = rate * quantity.

Kindly suggest

Thanks

Hi,

If this were an infocube you could remodel to load the required fields. Unfortunately we don't have this option in DSOs. What you can do is creating a virtual key figure for the same. There are many threads blogs and documents for virtual key figures on SCN. Virtual key figures are calculated dynamically in query run. I think you only got this option to solve your problem unless you do a full upload.

Hope it gives an idea

Hi there

Have you tried to calculate this on query and for std and ytd use exception aggregation per month.

Thank you
