Multiple Structure In Bex query Designer

Hi all,

             I am working on Daily and monthly sales for qty and Value in same report layout . But i am getting problem in defining multiple query structure in

query designer . Is it possible to add multiple structure in column ? If not then is there another way to develop report?

Hi,

As Cornelia said, your requirement is not possible in a query designer..

But you can solve this by using a workbook, if you only have a small number of material and group, by creating different queries for each material group..

Hello Suhas,

You can use Max. two structures in Bex. either:-

--> you can use both structures in Rows   OR

--> one structure in row and other in colums.

** means you can use maximum one structure in Colms.

For this requirement you need to use one structure in 'Rows'  and other structure in 'column' .

Please try to implement as shown below:-

PS: I am considering that  you have fixed number of cities...

1) sure it is possible to have 2 structures in columns

2) why should he put cities into a structure???

Hi Suhas,

you can have two structures per query.

only one structure can contain key figures.

If you use both structures in columns, the upper structure will act as a sort of higher hierarchy level to the lower structure.

So in your case it is not possible to have value in one structure and quantity in another, but you can only have them together in one structure.

But you can put your material group and material char below the structure.
