PSS and HR Authentication - need information

Hello Experts,

Me again

I have been battling to understand how HR authentication works - I have configured the system

as per snote # 1617371, however here is my concern.

I have done the config of the GRAC_UIBB_END_USER_LOGON with a service user

For my Data sources : I am using HR for User Search, Detail User Search and Authentication,

however not all users are set-up with a "su01* account in HR system. They are all set-up with

info in the PA0105 table, so this is what I have set-up in -

SPRO->GRC->PSS Global Config - set to HR

Company does not want any challenge questions and email needs to be sent to the email account

maintained in the HR - infotype 105.

I am also getting prompted for the Personnel # and not only the User id in the End User Logon portal.

Thanks in advance for your kind help, I'm a newbie at doing this in "solo" ...

Hello,

If you set HR authentication.

They dont need to be available in SU01.

they have to be in 0105 and subtype 0001.

they have to login using thier employee number and password in SSN number.
