BDoc Error - Specify either address number or address handle

Hi Experts,

We are facing the BDoc error Specify either address number or address handle(AM-53) of BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.

Such errors are triggered when an address is updated/created.

I came across a number posts in SCN regarding the issue but those could not help me out.

We have the latest version of SAP CRM - EHP3 FOR SAP CRM 7.0

It would be great if you share your views/solution regarding the exception.

Hello Sameer,

This kind of error can be due to the inconsistencies in the address data,. If so,

Could you please check the following reports to confirm if the data are consistent or not:

1064373 : Report to clear the address inconsistencies BU

1062569 : Report to generate BUT020 records

865271 Report to get the inconsistency with address

You can run the reports in test mode, in CRM side first.

A little bit confusion. The reports specified above are NOTES or reports.

If these are reports how to run them in test mode because I don't find such reports in system.

Could you please share the TCode / steps to be followed to run the above reports?

Hello Sameer,

Please refer note: 1064373. This note explains how to run a report. There is a parameter testrun in the report. If this paramter is set, the report runs in the test mode.

For some reasons I don't known  why the notes were removed. I sent you the same  as Sonal

1064347, 1062569, 865271 and 517377, just run the report.
