GRATUITY

My Client gives Gratuity to the permanent employees . Employees join as Trainee,etc (Temporary Employees) and later they promoted to Permanent Employees. There are two Personnel number ranges ie One for Permanent employees and Other For Temporary employees. How to do configuration so that Gratuity will be calculated from the day when the employee will be promoted to permanent employee.

Please give suggestions to this issue.

Usually gratuity can be given after 5 years of service i.e eligibility where in this case requirement sems to be different and check with business process owners one more time if they confirms then accordingly it can be mapped.

Further more system is configured with diferent number ranges since we can handle it with the help of allowance grouping.

Go throguh V_T7ING1, G3, G5,A9 and T9 table.

Payroll---India--- Retirement benefits- Gratuity.

Termination work bech configuration.
