Cannot Prevent Overdelivery in Confirm Transfer Order Bulk Storage

Hi All,

i'm using bulk storage, and when stock removal i cant prevent full SU removal in confirming transfer order.

requirement quantity only 3300 split into 2 pallet, each pallet has 3200

but system propose pick quantity into available quantity

but system throws message only information, we can proceed this step:

i have set message L3 280 to error message.

But system always throws the message with information message only.

Any suggestion for this issue?

What is your expectation from the system

1)  Do you expect system to allow the over delivery  (This is because it seems you have overdeliveies checked at movement type level)

2) Do you want to create transfer order with 3200 and 100 when your requirement is for 3300 (This can be achieved with partial pick setting at Bulk storage control)

1) i didnt expecting any overdelivery i want to restrict it, and i've already checked that my movement type customizing doesnt allow overdelivery

2) Yes, i've already set partial pick indicator as well, for the last item when requirement only 100 but system suggest full quantity (3200), if admin forget to change the quantity then transfer order will be confirmed overdelivery because SAP does not restrict this behavior.

Can you please check if full stock removal is activated in your storage type ?

If it is checked, system can suggest full stock removal for the SU.

Could you please check storage type control for bulk storage type below ?

Round off requested quantity to full storage unit field should be blank. If it is X, therefore system can suggest full SU.

You can not pick more than open transfer order quantity.

Why do you enter 3200 for the pick quantity with two storage units ? Your open pick quantity is 3300 so you can pick 3200 from the first storage unit, then you can pick the remaining quantities from the second SU.

Hi Keskin,

It is suggested by system, if admin by mistake do not change suggested quantity into remaining quantity then system still allow this condition.

In bulk storage, SAP System suggest full pallet quantity eventhough requirement quantity only partial pallet quantity
