In order to update CO-PA with the actual cost of the sold products, I want to run on a periodically basis (less than the fiscal period) an actual costing run. Since the period should be closed first for the classic actual costing, I thought that I would be a solution to opt for the alternative costing run in order to avoid the closing issue. However split valuation is active. So the actual cost is done below plant level and currently I'm encountering the following error message: C+073 : Can somebody give advice. I'm referring in the alternative costing run to the current period, since it can happen that due to their trading activities the goods comes in week 1 of month 2 and 2 weeks later it leaves already the company, However in CO-PA we should reflect the actual cost and not the standard one at which it was sold.
