Crystal Reports Error Message

Hello,

We use the Crystal Reports 2008. We use the report in conjunction with Salesforce. When I go to the Database --> Logon or Off Server button and type in my Salesforce credentials, I receive this error message:

Log on failed.

Details: Unexpected error;

Nested exception is: Javaz.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:

1. Sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderExpection: unable to find valid certification path to request target.

I have no idea what it means or how to resolve it. This is the first time I’ve ever seen it. Please help.

Hi Kristen

In the search box in top right corner, type: crystal salesforce

That will give you a KBA with a solution. There is also a number of Discussions on these forums regarding this issue - with solution.
