How to verify if IP30 has been started?

Hi PM Guru,

In SM37, even if I specify the program RISTRA20 with user *, I got NO job matches the selection critiria.

I assume it is because of the authorization restriction.

So, I wonder how to check if IP30 has been running?

From IP10 below, can we tell it is run with the called by?

Please kindly advise.

Hi Maria and Kavala,

Please have a look at the SM37 and there is no such job with program name RIASHAR20.

But based on the screen shot in my initial post, it seems we have if the called by IP**** means there is a batch job of IP30.

Hello Sally,

What you are referring to is Job name . They are not Program names. What you should do is to give RISTRA20 in the bottom field (ABAP Program name:) as shown below.

Yes, I can see the programs now.  Will mark yours as the correct one.

Further questions in my 2nd screen dump of IP10:

1. Called by IP1020150819

Does it mean it is the date when IP30 runs and generates the call?

2. Change BY: HTIBC

What does it mean, please?

For the first question it is YES.

Second one I am yet to know about this. This must be an indication of call changes due to skips/offsets etc.

Sticking to the 1st question, if you go see the 1st screen shot where you can see the called by is IP1020061120, would you please let me know the meaning?

If it is called by another program, why does it got the back date?

From memory IP1020061120 means IP10, 2006 November 20

This is the date that IP30 was run in background/batch.

Try executing without specifying the program name ?

Give only one day and see whether you are getting the output.

Kindly provide the screenshot of SM37 of how you are trying to search.
