Maintenance plan call on wrong date

Hi Gurus,

I have a small Question regarding the Maintenance plan call date.

1. The Expected plan date is 8th of every month. We found tht plan date of call has chnaged twice in recent months. One in month of Aprol and second in September. (call number 25 and 29).

If you see the screenshot number 2 (attached) for the month of June, July and August though the calls have completed 5days, 21days and 7days lately the plan dates have still been generated on 09th of respective months.

For the month of september as the previous call got completed 10days late it shifted to 19th of Sep. but why in the case of june july and august though the calls got completed lately it was on 9th only and why in Sep it's different. can somebody please explain me.

Hi Bansal,

This is because of completion requirement check box.If you set this indicator, the system only generates the next call once the preceding call object has been confirmed.

As call no 24 completed on 9.4.2015 so system provide next plan date 9.5.2015 instead of 8.5.2015 because system counts that date as past date.same case with your call no 28.

Hi Parvesh,

You need to check when the Completion requirement Indicator is set.

Until August, all call dates are not moved based on the completion of previous call, only September call date is moved based on the delay. 

This is just an assumption, check the Change documents of the plan for more information.

even for June,july and Aug months the calls got delayed by 21, 7 and 10 days respectively. then why didn't the start date get chnaged.? for Sep month it got delayed by 10days then call got moved by 10days further and generated on 19th Sep. but why not in the case of July and august where it got delayed by 21 and 7days.?

What settings are you using in IP30?

Is it possible that the next order was called via IP30 BEFORE you entered the TECO on the previous order??

Hi Parvesh,

Most likely reason is some one has changed the scheduling parameter of your MP.
