Hello everyone,
as the headline already tells you, I'm facing an issue with the crystal reports (2013) application server not starting. The status only changes to "stopped" if I stop the server or "being started" if I start or restart it. It never gets the status to "running" and remains "getting started" without assigning a PID to the server. There is no error message being shown in either the server overwerview nor in the logs.
This problem has just recently and suddenly appeared. I've already tried the follwing troubleshoots with no improvement:
If anyone has a solution for this problem, please tell me.
Regards,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Is it a Linux environment?
Do you see any errors in eventviewer if it is windows server?
Is there any error when you go to properties of the RAS server? Is there any other server failing to start or just crystal RAS?
Is there any upgrade on the BO server or any changes?
Regards,
Rajshree

Hi Robert,
Please try the following note-

Also ensure you have 32 bit libraries for OS(linux) installed.

Similar type of issue reported post installation of Explorer and the resolution is provided here. http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1996556. Try it out.
However I would request you to publish the complete details about the environment where you are facing the issue and the workflow when you started getting this issue to troubleshoot further.
Thanks
Mani
