Hello everybody,

I'm running a package link in the EPM. How is it possible to run through all the steps of the package link even if one of them failed ?

Thank you very much for the help

Emmanuel

Hi Emmanuel

You can create a custom process chain and call each package using UJD_PACKAGES2 with a variant. When linking one step to next, you can control if the next step should proceed when previous one is successful or always. Call this process chain using a Data Manager Package.

Hi Gajendra,

Thanks for the hint but it looks that only Packages are listed in UJD_PACKAGES2, not the Packages link

That is correct. Instead of package link, you need to call each package of your package link in the process chain and link them in the same process chain as multiple steps.

What type of packages do you have in the package link?

Please provide detailed info.

Hi

I have seen your all the threads, all  are open.

In most of the cases you are not responding back. It is your responsibility to close the threads by assigning proper mark to help others if they have same issue , if you solved your problem close it else respond back.

Hi Emmanuel,

I think It's not possible to run next package if previous package get failed.

You can schedule the DMP or create multiple links with one step and schedule it.
